Installation & Notes
The Rize Industries Lowering Spring Set is a 4-piece progressive-rate coil spring kit designed for street-focused truck builds targeting a 1 to 1.5-inch drop in ride height. Lowering the ride height lowers the center of gravity, reduces body motion during cornering and braking, and creates a more aggressive, planted visual stance. The progressive-rate design uses a variable coil spacing that provides a softer initial rate for small bumps and pot holes, transitioning to a firmer rate as load increases. This results in noticeably better handling response over a linear-rate spring without the harsh ride penalty of a fully stiff setup. All four springs are designed to maintain proper strut and shock travel, avoiding the coil bind or bottoming issues common with budget drop springs that prioritize aesthetics over engineering. Compatible with XLT, Sport, Lariat, LT, LTZ, and Limited street trim levels. Not recommended for off-road or towing applications.
Lower center of gravity. Better cornering. A more purposeful stance. No rough ride trade-off.
What's in the Box
- Four progressive-rate coil springs (two front, two rear) with platform-specific spring rates and free lengths
- Upper and lower spring isolator pads to reduce NVH and prevent metal-to-metal contact at the spring perch
- Printed install guide with torque specs and a note on required spring compressor use during installation
Key Features
- Progressive-rate design provides soft initial compliance for daily driving comfort with firm mid-travel response for spirited cornering
- Engineered to maintain proper shock absorber travel range — avoids the coil bind and premature shock topping common in budget drop kits
- 1 to 1.5-inch drop provides measurable handling improvement without requiring wheel spacers or fender rolling on standard street trims
Rize Lowering Spring Set ships with a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects. Not recommended for off-road or towing applications.
